What’s up, all! It’s a little late this week because I decided to go into work for a bit today, but I’m home now and ready to be disappointed by today’s games! They’ll be fine, I just doubt they’ll live up to the Wild Card games.

Vikings at 49ers - As I’m writing this, it’s 7-7 just into the 2nd quarter. The Niners should win on paper, but I don’t know. I’m a little surprised the Vikings answered the Niners first TD, after going three -and-out on their first possession. Might be a better game than I expected.

Titans at Ravens - I’m weirdly interested in this one. The Ravens feel to me like the team that everyone thinks will go all the way only to get knocked out in an upset before they can get there. If they win today, I think they can do it. The Titans have nothing to lose, though. No one thought they’d get this far.

Enjoy!

The first half of 49ers-Vikings game was pretty good. The Vikings might be able to pull it off.

I'm not as in love with the Ravens as some experts are, but I can't see the Titans winning today. Henry is good, but he's not that good. The Ravens are a much better team than the Patriots were this year.

My gut tells me that the Vikings will regret settling for a field goal after that turnover.

I also have the feeling the Ravens will focus on stopping Henry and forget that Tannehill has also been playing  pretty well.

I’m still in on the Niners-Ravens matchup for the Super Bowl.

Lamar Jackson is a ton of fun to watch, but I think the 49er defense is too good as long as they stay healthy this week and next. I’m going to say 27-17 SF.

The Vikings needed a to not commit turnovers in the second half and Kirk just threw a pick. If the 49ers go up 24-10 now , I don’t see them losing that lead.

Well, and now Sherels picked a bad time to muff a punt.

If it goes 34-10 I might tune out until the second game.

Seemed like Minny was lucky to be in it at halftime, and SF just pulled away in the 2nd.

Hope game 2 is better -I think Tennessee is better than their record now that Tannehill is playing well.

I’m a bit disgusted that the Vikings came out and tried to run a normal offense down by 3 scores in the 4th quarter. I’m not saying they can’t run in that situation, but starting with that wasn’t great, and they definitely needed to be in the hurry up there. The game wasn’t over at that point, but especially with the new onside rules, time was absolutely tight, but they acted like there was no need to rush until it was down to 5 minutes left.

Yep, sure seemed that way. The Vikings just looked flat in the second half.

Yeah, that was pretty bad. I also expected them to go for it on fourth down but they were all too happy to punt.

I can believe that going for it would have been the right choice there. Would have been an easier decision without the sack on the previous play.

Can we just get a glorious winner-take-all round 3 of Seahawks VS 49ers for the NFC title match ? Superbowl being t he winner of that vs. The Ravens? Please..?

What in the world happened in Baltimore in the first half? I turned it on and it's 14-3 Titans?

Well, you might get the first half of that...

Yeesh. I didn’t pay much attention to the Titans this season, maybe I should have.

I know you’re a Broncos fan and this might hurt, but Derrick Henry just did his best Dontari Poe impersonation:

Yeah, we remember that. They were running it up in that game. That’s ok, at least we’ve won  a super bowl in the last 40 years, LOL.

I remember watching that game live and thinking “why would you waste a great trick play like that on a non-playoff game?!”

Lamar Jackson is a broken man. It’s not even the fourth quarter and this game is over.

(Also my team has won a super bowl in the last 40 years too. I’m an Eagles fan. They have a 10 year grace period before I can get worked up about football again.)

They pulled Mariota against the Broncos earlier this year, and when Ryan Tannehill got into the game it was a huge difference, though the Broncos held on to win. I’ve been tuning into Titans games on Sirius when they weren’t scheduled up against the Broncos, and they’re better than most people think.

You might not get the Ravens part of that.

I’m hoping for 49ers-Packers in the NFC championship. Beyond that, I'm ok with whatever.

I don’t know if I’d go that far, but he looks like every young QB that has big success during the regular season, hits some adversity in the playoffs, and can’t cope with it. I think he’ll learn from it, though. That’s assuming they lose this game. Right now they just scored a TD to get closer.

I’m still watching. I don’t think the Ravens will catch the Titans.

I do think Jackson will learn from tonight. This game is one hell of a shock.

Me too. They just can’t stop the run right now.

Baltimore is going to have a day tomorrow like we had after they beat the Broncos in 2013. I went to the store the next day and it was like everyone was dead inside. Friggi n’ Rahim Moore.

Yeah, I’m pretty shocked. All it takes is for one team to get hot at the right time.

Everyone keeps forgetting that the niners had three defensive starters come back from injury this week. These guys haven’t played since like, week 9? They’re all game changers too. Prior to their injuries our D was playing lights out. Snaps with those three guys, plus Bosa, opposing QB’s had an average QB rating of 3. Three! Plus Emmanuel Sanders got his only bye week of the season. If we stay healthy at this point, we will be extremely difficult to beat.

On another note, what in the actual fuck happened to the Ravens!? That game was nuts!
